Children's back protector FLAXTA BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR BLACK is an advanced second-generation protective vest designed especially for young skiers and snowboarders. It combines certified back protection, exceptional breathability, low weight and complete freedom of movement.
The new generation of BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR brings a redesigned protective plate with improved impact absorption, as well as more modern, lighter and more breathable materials. The innovative AVA (Absorb, Vent, Adapt) technology helps absorb impact energy, enables air circulation and adapts to the natural movements of the body.
Thanks to its extremely slim construction, the Low-Profile Design allows the protective vest to be comfortably worn under a ski jacket without unnecessary bulk. The children's anatomical cut and removable elastic belt ensure an adjustable fit.
The protector is certified to the European standard EN 1621-2 Level 1.
AVA is an innovative protective technology from FLAXTA, developed in cooperation with polymer materials experts. It is based on a special viscoelastic polymer that combines impact absorption, ventilation and flexibility.
On impact, the viscoelastic protective plate deforms in a controlled way and increases its stiffness. This helps absorb and distribute impact energy and reduce the force transmitted to the back.
The open geometric structure of the protective plate allows air circulation and helps reduce the build-up of heat and moisture during activity.
The flexible construction adapts to the natural movements of the body and allows comfortable skiing, snowboarding, forward bending and turning without the feeling of stiff protective gear.
FLAXTA BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR features a completely redesigned protective plate, developed for more efficient impact absorption.
Compared with the first-generation BEHOLD JUNIOR, the new construction provides improved protective properties while maintaining high flexibility and low thickness.
Redesigned protective plate: improved impact absorption.
Viscoelastic material: helps reduce the transmitted force.
High breathability: adapts to the body's natural movements.
Slim profile: comfortable to wear under a ski jacket.
Open structure: effective ventilation.
Lightweight construction: greater comfort during all-day skiing.
FLAXTA BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR is certified to the European standard EN 1621-2 Level 1, which defines requirements and test methods for back protectors.
Protection level | Maximum permitted average transmitted force |
|---|---|
Level 1 | 18 kN |
Level 2 | 9 kN |
A lower transmitted force means a higher level of energy absorption in the standardized test.
BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR achieves Level 1, combining certified protection, flexibility and comfort.
The protector can reduce the risk or severity of some injuries, but it does not guarantee complete protection against back or spine injuries.
Low-Profile Design is one of the key advantages of the BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR model.
The protective vest is designed to fit closely to the body, so the child can comfortably wear it under a ski jacket without unnecessary bulk.
Extremely slim protective construction.
Comfortable wear under a ski jacket.
Minimal additional volume.
Natural body movement.
Suitable for longer use on the slopes.
The second generation of BEHOLD JUNIOR uses redesigned materials that improve comfort, breathability and flexibility of the protective vest.
The new construction is designed for lower weight and more efficient ventilation, which is especially important for children who are very active during skiing.
The breathable design helps reduce heat and moisture build-up and enables more comfortable all-day wear.
FLAXTA BEHOLD 2 JUNIOR has a specially shaped children's cut that takes into account the body structure of younger skiers.
The flexible construction adapts to body movements and helps keep the protective plate in the correct position.
A cut adapted to the children's body structure.
Comfortable and stable fit.
Flexible construction.
Unrestricted movement during skiing.
Suitable for girls and boys.
The protective vest features a removable and adjustable elastic belt, which allows additional fit adjustment.
The belt helps keep the protector in the correct position during movement and allows individual adjustment according to the child's body structure.
If needed, it can be removed when the vest sits correctly on the body without it.
