As a rule, skis should reach between your chin and eye level. For most Elan skis, the recommended length is 5 to 15 cm less than your height, depending on how you ski: slightly longer for more dynamic skiing, shorter for greater maneuverability. More in the article How to choose the right skis.
Beginners should choose softer, shorter and more forgiving skis that make turning easier. All-mountain skis are the most versatile for different conditions.
