BOLLÉ Y7 OTG Black Matte-Phantom Fire Red Cat 1 to 3 Ski Goggles

BOLLÉ Y7 OTG BLACK MATTE – PHANTOM FIRE RED CAT. 1–3 Ski Goggles

Photochromic Ski Goggles BOLLÉ Y7 OTG – Phantom technology, automatic adaptation to light, wearable over prescription glasses, and 100% UV protection

BOLLÉ Y7 OTG BLACK MATTE – PHANTOM FIRE RED CAT. 1–3 Ski Goggles are high-quality photochromic ski goggles designed for skiers and snowboarders who want excellent visibility in changing weather conditions and the option to wear them over prescription glasses.

Their main advantage is the Phantom Fire Red photochromic lens, category 1–3, which automatically adjusts tint to the intensity of light. In cloudy weather it becomes lighter, and in strong sunlight it darkens and reduces glare.

The special OTG (Over The Glasses) design allows the ski goggles to be worn over most prescription glasses, without unnecessary pressure on the frames.

The Y7 OTG model combines a cylindrical double lens, double-density face foam, Flow-Tech ventilation, anti-fog and anti-scratch protection, and an adjustable strap with silicone grippers.

The matte black frame BLACK MATTE and the striking red lens PHANTOM FIRE RED create a modern sporty look.

Phantom Photochromic – photochromic lens category 1–3

Phantom is BOLLÉ's advanced photochromic technology, designed to automatically adjust the lens tint to changing light conditions.

The Phantom Fire Red CAT. 1–3 lens covers a wide range of light conditions, from overcast to sunny weather.

Main advantages

• Photochromic category 1–3: adjustable tint depending on light.

• Automatic adaptation: no manual lens changing required.

• 100% UVA/UVB protection: protects the eyes from ultraviolet radiation.

• High optical clarity: more precise perception of the snow surface.

• Better contrast: makes it easier to recognize bumps and changes in terrain.

• More comfortable view: less glare in sunny conditions.

Phantom photochromic technology is especially useful for all-day skiing, when weather conditions often change.

What do lens category and VLT mean?

VLT (Visible Light Transmission) indicates the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens.

A lower VLT means a darker lens, while a higher VLT means a lighter lens.

BOLLÉ Y7 OTG PHANTOM FIRE RED feature a photochromic lens of category 1–3, which adjusts automatically to light.

For this variant, the approximate light transmission range is VLT 57–15%.

Photochromic lenses are not intended for use at night or in complete darkness.

OTG (Over The Glasses) – wearable over prescription glasses

OTG is a special ski goggle design intended for users of prescription glasses.

The Y7 OTG model has greater internal depth and adapted face foam, which provides space for the prescription frame.

Main advantages

• Space for prescription glasses: compatible with most standard frames.

• Greater internal depth: less pressure on prescription glasses.

• Adapted foam: comfortable fit around the edges of the frames.

• Wide field of view: good overview of the surroundings.

• All-day comfort: suitable for longer use.

Compatibility depends on the size and shape of prescription glasses. For larger frames we recommend trying them on first.

Cylindrical double lens – wide field of view

The Y7 OTG model has a cylindrical double lens, which provides a wide view of the slopes.

The special lens construction contributes to good optical quality, and the double design helps reduce condensation.

Advantages

• Wide field of view.

• Good peripheral visibility.

• Better overview of other skiers.

• Reduced temperature differences.

• Lower likelihood of fogging.

Anti-Fog Coating – protection against fogging

Anti-Fog Coating is a protective coating on the inside of the lens that reduces condensation.

Combined with the double lens and effective ventilation, it helps keep vision clear while skiing.

Anti-Scratch Coating – protection against scratches

Anti-Scratch Coating increases the resistance of the outer lens surface to minor scratches during normal use.

To maintain lens quality, we recommend proper cleaning and storage of the sunglasses.

Flow-Tech Venting – effective ventilation

Flow-Tech Venting is BOLLÉ's ventilation system, which enables directed air circulation through the frame.

The Y7 OTG model has improved ventilation on the upper and lower parts of the frame.

Main advantages

• Improved air circulation.

• Removal of excess moisture.

• Reduced risk of fogging.

• More comfortable use during more intense skiing.

Vented Lens – additional lens ventilation

Vented Lens denotes a ventilated lens that allows additional air circulation.

Together with the Flow-Tech system, it helps reduce moisture inside the goggles.

Double Density Face Foam – two-layer face foam

Double Density Face Foam is a two-layer face foam that provides a comfortable and stable fit.

Main advantages

• Two foam layers: a combination of comfort and support.

• Even pressure: better adaptation to the face.

• Padding: more comfort during extended use.

• OTG design: suitable for use with prescription glasses.

Silicone On Strap – stability on the face

The adjustable elastic strap has silicone elements on the inside, which reduce slipping of the goggles during skiing.

The strap allows size adjustment for a stable fit.

Optical Clip Compatible – compatibility with optical insert

The BOLLÉ Y7 OTG model allows the use of a suitable optical insert (Optical Clip) for prescription lenses.

This is an additional option for users who do not want to wear regular prescription glasses under ski goggles.
