BOLLÉ NEVADA SMALL CHROMATIC SURGE MATTE – AZURE CAT. 2

BOLLÉ NEVADA SMALL Sunglasses – wide field of view, Azure Category 2 lenses, 100% UV protection and a comfortable fit for smaller faces

BOLLÉ NEVADA SMALL CHROMATIC SURGE MATTE – AZURE CAT. 2 are high-quality sunglasses with a modern frameless design, made for runners and skaters with smaller or narrower faces.

The NEVADA SMALL model keeps the recognizable design of the larger NEVADA model, but is adapted to smaller facial contours. The large cylindrical lenses provide a wide field of view and good overview of the surroundings.

The glasses are fitted with Azure Category 2 lenses, which have a 22% visible light transmission (VLT) and an amber base tint. They are primarily suitable for partly cloudy and moderately sunny conditions.

Comfort is ensured by triple-density face foam, double lenses, Flow-Tech ventilation, anti-fog and anti-scratch protection, and an adjustable strap with silicone elements.

The special color combination of CHROMATIC SURGE MATTE and Azure lenses creates a modern, dynamic sporty look.

Azure CAT. 2 – lenses for changing light conditions

Azure CAT. 2 lenses have a fixed tint level, intended for use in medium light intensity.

Main advantages

• CAT. 2 category: suitable for partly cloudy and moderately sunny weather.

• VLT 22%: transmits 22% of visible light.

• Amber base tint: helps detect contrasts on snow.

• 100% UV protection: protects against ultraviolet radiation.

• Clear visibility: comfortable perception of the surroundings while wearing them.

Important: Azure CAT. 2 lenses are not photochromic. Their tint level does not change automatically with the light.

What does the CAT. 2 lens category mean?

VLT (Visible Light Transmission) indicates the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens.

BOLLÉ NEVADA SMALL AZURE CAT. 2 have a VLT of 22%, so they are suitable for normal daylight conditions while wearing them.

SLF – Superior Light Filter

SLF (Superior Light Filter) is BOLLÉ's lens technology that provides 100% UV protection, clear visibility and natural perception of the surroundings.

Main advantages

• 100% UV protection: protects against ultraviolet radiation.

• Optical clarity: good visibility of the snowy surface.

• Low weight: comfort during extended use.

• Durability: suitable for regular skiing.

Cylindrical Frameless Design – cylindrical frameless construction

The NEVADA SMALL model has a large cylindrical lens with a frameless look, which provides a wide field of view.

Main advantages

• Wide field of view: better overview of the surroundings.

• Good peripheral visibility: makes it easier to notice other riders.

• Frameless construction: modern sporty look.

• More compact size: adapted to smaller faces.

Double Lens – double lens against fogging

Double Lens is a construction with two lens layers separated by an insulating air gap.

It helps reduce temperature differences between the inner and outer surfaces of the lenses, and thereby the possibility of condensation.

Anti-Fog Coating – protection against fogging

Anti-Fog Coating is a protective coating on the inside of the lens that reduces condensation.

Combined with dual lenses and anti-fog treatment, they help maintain clearer vision while driving.

Anti-Scratch Coating – protection against scratches

Anti-Scratch Coating increases the resistance of the outer lens surface to minor scratches during normal use.

The coating helps preserve lens quality, but does not provide complete resistance to damage.

Flow-Tech Venting – effective ventilation

Flow-Tech Venting is BOLLÉ's ventilation system that allows directed airflow through the goggle frame.

Main advantages

• Improved air circulation.

• Removal of excess moisture.

• Reduced risk of fogging.

• More comfort during extended use.

Vented Lens – vented lenses

Vented Lens is an additional ventilation technology in which openings in the lens improve airflow.

Together with the Flow-Tech system, it helps reduce moisture build-up inside the glasses.

Triple Density Face Foam – three-layer face foam

The NEVADA SMALL model has triple-density face foam, which provides a comfortable and stable fit.

Main advantages

• Three layers of foam: comfortable fit on the face.

• Even pressure distribution: fewer uncomfortable pressure points.

• Padding: more comfort during extended use.

• Fit: adapted to smaller and narrower faces.

Silicone On Strap – stability on the face

The elastic strap has silicone elements on the inside, which reduce the glasses slipping during sports activity.

The adjustable strap provides a stable and comfortable fit.

• Partly cloudy weather: suitable light category.

• Moderately sunny days: reducing glare.

• All-day sports: triple-density foam and effective ventilation.

• Snowboarding: wide field of view and stable fit.

Size and fit

BOLLÉ NEVADA SMALL are available in a universal One Size, but have a more compact design than the standard NEVADA model.

How to correctly check the fit?

1. Placement: Place the goggles on your face so that the foam rests evenly against the skin.

2. Nose area: Make sure the goggles do not press excessively on the nose.

3. Elastic strap: Adjust it so the glasses stay in place stably.

4. Helmet fit: Check that the top edge of the goggles fits properly under the helmet.

5. Field of view: The glasses must not restrict your view forward or to the sides.

6. Comfort: Wear the glasses together with the helmet for a few minutes to check the fit.

Important: The SMALL designation means a smaller frame size, not a reduced model. The glasses are suitable for all users whose face shape fits the smaller design.

Care and maintenance

To maintain lens quality we recommend:

• Cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth.

• Removing snow without rubbing harshly.

• Do not rub the wet inner surface of the lens.

• No aggressive cleaners or solvents.

• Drying at room temperature.

• Avoiding direct sources of high heat.

• Storage in a protective pouch or case.

• Avoid contact of the lens with sharp objects.

Important: The anti-fog inner coating is sensitive. Let any wet inner surface air dry.
