For a child skiing for the first time, we recommend a shorter length for easier or simpler turning. For a heavier, more powerful or already more confident young skier, you may choose slightly longer skis.
When choosing, consider not only height but also the child's body weight, age, skiing skill and physical strength. Children's skis should generally reach at least to the chin and at most to about the forehead.
