Saucony Endorphin Elite 3 running shoes are a premium unisex racing model designed for runners who want maximum efficiency, explosive energy return, and speed on race day. The third generation of the Elite brings a redesigned midsole geometry, a double layer of IncrediRUN foam, and a new slotted carbon fiber plate.
The full 40-millimeter platform uses exceptionally responsive IncrediRUN foam, delivering very high energy return. The double foam layer creates a distinctly lively and explosive feel under the foot and is optimized primarily for high-speed running.
Between the foam layers sits a new slotted carbon fiber plate. Its construction is designed for a more efficient toe-off and smoother transitions through the running stride. Together with the redesigned midsole geometry, it helps create a distinctly propulsive feel and improves stability at fast paces.
The upper is designed specifically for competition. Race Ready Upper is lightweight, breathable, and designed to keep the foot securely in place during fast running without unnecessary material and extra weight.
The outsole is built for road contact with the external PWRTRAC outsole, delivering reliable grip and durability on road surfaces. The rubber distribution is tailored for racing use, where grip and the lowest possible overall weight are important.
Endorphin Elite 3 is Saucony’s most capable model for race day and is intended for runners seeking top carbon racing shoes for road races, half marathons, and marathons and who want to maximize efficiency in chasing personal records.
IncrediRUN is Saucony’s most powerful foam, developed for exceptionally high energy return and use in the fastest road running models.
Endorphin Elite 3 uses a double layer of IncrediRUN foam, creating a distinctly responsive and energetic feel under the foot. The construction is optimized for runners who want to maximize energy efficiency at race pace with every step.
The redesigned construction uses a full 40 mm high IncrediRUN foam platform. The large amount of highly responsive foam provides a combination of protection, cushioning, and explosive energy return.
Such a design is especially important in half marathons and marathons, where the shoe must maintain high efficiency even after many kilometers.
The new slotted carbon plate is designed for an even more efficient toe-off and a smoother transition through the stride.
The carbon construction works with the double layer of IncrediRUN foam to help create a propulsive feel that encourages the runner forward at higher speeds.
The Endorphin Elite 3 geometry has been redesigned to increase efficiency and stability at fast running speeds.
A broader and thoughtfully shaped platform helps provide a more confident feel at high speeds, especially in the later kilometers of longer road races.
Race Ready Upper is an extremely light, breathable, and minimalist upper designed for competitive use.
The construction reduces unnecessary material while still providing enough secure grip on the foot for high-speed running.
The external outsole PWRTRAC provides reliable grip and durability on asphalt and other road surfaces.
The rubber is used where it is most needed, helping the shoe stay light and race-ready.
Endorphin Elite 3 is primarily intended for competition day and the fastest road training. For most daily light kilometers, a classic training model is more suitable; Elite 3 shines most when speed, efficiency, and results are in focus.

When choosing your size, measure both feet and use the longer measurement. For competitive running footwear, the foot must be held securely, but there must be enough room in front of the toes for the foot to expand naturally during longer runs. For performance models, Saucony recommends choosing a size larger than your regular footwear if necessary.
