Elan Primetime 44 24/25 skis combine fast edge-to-edge transition, sporty responsiveness, and reliable grip. They’re aimed at good and excellent skiers who enjoy precise carving turns and want capable skis for groomed slopes.

The narrow 69-millimeter width under the boot allows exceptionally quick edge-to-edge changes and a direct feel when guiding the ski. Geometry 121/69/102 mm provides excellent maneuverability, precise initiation of a turn, and a stable finish even at higher speeds.

The PowerMatch technology adjusts the ski construction to the natural way power is transferred to the snow. A stronger inner side provides grip, stability, and responsiveness, while the lighter outer side enables an easier turn initiation and smooth transition between edges.

The Dual Density Woodcore uses different densities and thicknesses of materials on the inner and outer sides of the ski. This ensures power where the skier needs it and lighter weight where easy handling is important.

The Mono Ti reinforcement with a single layer of titanium increases stability, torsional stiffness, and calmness of the ski. The Amphibio profile combines camber on the inner edge for precision and grip with rocker on the outer edge for easier turning.

A notable advantage of this set are the advanced bindings Protector 13 GW Fusion X, which, in addition to powerful energy transfer, include Full Heel Release technology for added safety in certain fall types.

SKIS INCLUDE ELAN PROTECTOR 13 GW FUSION X BINDINGS WITH DIN RANGE 4–13.

Bindings Protector 13 GW use the Full Heel Release – FHR technology, enabling heel release in both vertical and lateral directions. The system is designed to reduce knee loading, especially in backward twisting falls.

The Protector technology cannot prevent all injuries, but the additional lateral heel release option provides an important safety upgrade compared to classic alpine bindings.

The GW designation means the bindings are compatible with appropriate alpine and GripWalk ski boots. The Fusion X system ensures direct power transfer, a stable connection, and a natural bend of the ski.

Techniques of the skis

PowerMatch

PowerMatch technology aligns the ski construction with the way power is transmitted to the snow. A stronger inner edge provides stability, responsiveness, and grip, while the lighter outer side enables a more intuitive initiation of turns.

Dual Density Woodcore

The wooden core uses stronger materials and a thicker profile on the inner edge, with lighter construction on the outer side. The result is an optimal balance of power, stability, responsiveness, and easy handling.

Mono Ti

A single layer of titanium above the wooden core improves torsional stability, edge grip, and calmness of the ski. It gives the skis a sporty feel without becoming overly demanding.

Amphibio

The asymmetric profile combines camber on the inner edge for precision and grip with rocker on the outer edge for easier turning. Left and right skis are structurally adapted to their respective sides.

RST Racing Sidewall

Vertical sidewalls enable direct energy transfer from skier to edges and ensure reliable grip along the entire length of the ski.

Fusion X

The Fusion X system enables direct energy transfer between boot, binding, and ski, while maintaining the natural and energetic bend of the ski through the turn.

Sintered High Speed Gliding Base

A high-quality sintered base ensures fast gliding, good wax absorption, and high wear resistance.

Protector bindings technology

Full Heel Release – FHR

The heel of the binding can release horizontally and vertically. The system offers 180-degree release direction and is designed to reduce forces acting on the knee and bindings during certain falls.

Lateral heel movement

The system first absorbs short lateral loads. If the force exceeds the set release value, the heel portion shifts and twists, releasing the ski boot.

GripWalk

Bindings are compatible with boots featuring the standard alpine sole and the GripWalk sole.
