Stable and responsive women's skis for confident carving skiing

Women’s skis ELAN Element 78 W RS 2024/2025 are designed for skiers who want to improve technique and ski on groomed runs with more control, stability, and confidence. The balanced construction provides enough support for sportier skiing, while remaining friendly and predictable for everyday use.

The 78 mm width under the ski boot ensures an excellent balance between agility and stability. The skis enable smooth transitions from edge to edge, a safe start to a turn, and reliable handling even in somewhat variable snow conditions.

The WaveMotion technology uses a special wave design that allows the ski to bend more easily lengthwise while maintaining the necessary torsional stability. The result is easier initiation of turns, better edge grip, and more efficient energy transfer to the snow.

The wooden core Dual Woodcore enhances stability, responsiveness, and control. Two longitudinal wooden elements along the edges of the ski provide more reliable power transfer and a calmer feel at higher speeds.

The EST Sidewall construction further improves contact between edges and snow and enables more precise steering through turns. The profile Early Rise Rocker with a slightly lifted tip ensures easier entry into a turn and a more forgiving feel when transitioning between edges.

If you are looking for women’s skis for groomed slopes that combine stability, good edge grip, and friendly handling, the Element 78 W RS model is an excellent choice for confident progression in carving technique.

Skis with Bindings

THE SKIS COME WITH ELAN EL 9.0 GW SHIFT BINDINGS WITH A DIN RANGE OF 2.5–9.

Bindings EL 9.0 GW Shift provide a reliable connection between the ski boot and ski and efficient energy transfer. The GW designation means the bindings are compatible with GripWalk-soled ski boots.

The Light Shift LS system keeps the overall weight low and enables a balanced stance on the skis. The adjustable design allows adaptation to different boot sole lengths.

Technologies

WaveMotion Technology

The wavy design of WaveMotion enables easier lengthwise bending of the ski while maintaining torsional stability. This helps the skier start turns more easily and keeps edges consistently in contact with the snow.

Dual Woodcore

The core consists of two wooden support elements placed along the outer edges of the ski. This construction improves energy transfer, stability, and edge grip while maintaining friendly handling.

EST Sidewall

The extended sidewall construction allows a more direct energy transfer to the edges. It provides better grip, greater stability, and more precise steering of the ski through a turn.

Early Rise Rocker

A moderately elevated tip enables a smooth and easy start to the turn. This makes the skis easier to manage and more forgiving when transitioning between edges.

Light Shift

A lightweight integrated system that connects skis and bindings into a balanced unit. Enables efficient energy transfer, easy binding adjustment, and less tiring all-day skiing.
