Lightweight carving ski with great control

Women’s skis ELAN Element 78 W 2024/2025 are designed for recreational and intermediate skiers who want to improve their technique and confidently enjoy groomed runs. Softer flex, reliable edge grip, and a stable feel enable comfortable skiing without unnecessary effort.

The WaveMotion technology uses a special wavy construction to allow easier longitudinal bending of the skis while maintaining required torsional stability. The skis thus enter turns more easily, follow the chosen direction nicely, and enable more efficient learning of carving techniques.

The EST Sidewall construction improves energy transfer to the edges and provides reliable grip and greater stability. This helps the skier maintain control on firmer snow and at somewhat higher speeds.

The wooden core Mono Woodcore provides a natural and balanced feel during skiing. It keeps the ski’s weight low while offering enough stability and responsiveness for technique progression.

The Early Rise Rocker profile, with a slightly lifted tip, eases the start of a turn and reduces the chance of edge catching. Thanks to a wider platform, which measures 75 to 78 mm under the boot depending on length, the skis are stable even in somewhat softer or variable snow.

If you are looking for women’s skis for groomed slopes that combine light steering, stability, and the ability to progress with confidence, Elan Element 78 W is an excellent choice.

Skis with bindings

THE SKIS COME WITH ELAN EL 9.0 GW SHIFT BINDINGS WITH A DIN RANGE OF 2.5–9.

Bindings EL 9.0 GW Shift are lightweight, easy to adjust, and compatible with suitable ski boots with a GripWalk sole. The Light Shift system provides a balanced connection between ski and binding and an efficient energy transfer without unnecessary added weight.

Technologies

WaveMotion Technology

Wave-shaped construction elements allow easier longitudinal bending of the skis while ensuring good torsional stability. The result is lighter turns, better control, and easier carving skiing.

EST Sidewall

Extended sidewall construction improves energy transfer from the skier to the edges. It provides reliable grip, greater stability, and more precise steering of the ski.

Mono Woodcore

The wooden core Mono Woodcore keeps the weight low and provides uniform flexibility and balanced feel. The skis are thus sufficiently stable, yet easy and comfortable to handle.

Early Rise Rocker

A slightly raised tip enables easier turn entry and smoother transition from one edge to the other. The profile improves directions and ensures more forgiving skiing.

Light Shift

A lightweight integrated system connects skis and bindings, ensuring good balance, efficient energy transfer, and the ability to adjust bindings to different boot lengths.
