ELAN Wingman 86 Black Edition 25/26 skis represent a top choice for advanced and experienced skiers who demand maximum performance on groomed slopes and reliable handling of varied terrain. The elegant all-black design is not only a stylistic highlight but a recognizable hallmark of Elan’s high-performance Black Edition series.
With a width of 85 to 86 mm underfoot, they provide an excellent balance between precise carving, high-speed stability and versatility in variable snow conditions. They are an ideal choice for skiers seeking powerful all-mountain skis but who mostly enjoy manicured slopes.
The advanced PowerLine technology distributes reinforcements along the inner edge of the Amphibio profile. The inner edge thus provides power, torsional stability and excellent grip, while the outer edge enables a smoother start to the turn and easier transition between edges.
The wooden core Tubelite Woodcore contains carbon rods that run along the length of the ski, providing strong rebound, responsiveness and stability without unnecessary weight gain. The combination of reinforcements Mono Ti, Carbon Rods and UD Carbon ensures exceptional precision, smooth ride and direct energy transfer even when skiing aggressively.
The Amphibio profile combines camber on the inner edge for precision and grip with rocker on the outer edge for a smoother start to the turn. The result is top-class carving skis that perform well on variable slopes, firmer snow and lighter terrain conditions.
THE SKIS COME WITH ELAN EMX 12.0 GW FUSION X BINDINGS IN A DIN RANGE OF 3.5–12.
The Fusion X system provides direct power transfer between the boot, binding and ski. The bindings offer a stable connection, precise control and natural flex of the ski.
The GW designation means compatibility with appropriate ski boots featuring GripWalk and traditional alpine tread.

Strategically placed reinforcements along the inner edge increase torsional stability, direct power transfer and grip through the entire turn. The outer side of the ski remains more flexible, enabling a smooth and controlled transition between turns.
In the laminated wooden core are inserted lightweight carbon rods that follow the contour of the sidecut. The core provides strong rebound, high torsional stability and responsiveness at a lighter total weight.
A single layer of titanium above the wooden core increases the ski’s power, stability and precision. Enables smoother riding at higher speeds and better energy transfer to the edges.
Carbon rods along the core provide additional longitudinal stability, sporty rebound and quick responsiveness without making the skis unnecessarily heavy.
Unidirectionally oriented carbon fibers increase responsiveness and power while improving the balance between performance and ski weight.
Asymmetric profile combines camber on the inner edge for precision, stability and grip with rocker on the outer edge for an easier start to the turn. Left and right skis are structurally adapted to their respective sides.
Slanted sidewalls allow efficient and direct energy transfer to the snow and provide high torsional stability at a lower structural weight.
The integrated system of ski and binding ensures optimal power transfer, stable connectivity and balanced flex of the ski through the turn.
High-quality sintered base provides excellent glide, high wear resistance and good wax absorption.
