Light and adaptable kids skis for faster learning

ELAN Jett JRS 25/26 kids skis are designed for the youngest skiers who are just learning to ski or want to confidently improve their technique. The soft and exceptionally adaptable construction allows easier turning, better control, and faster progression on snow.

Elan’s patented U-Flex technology provides up to 25% softer bend compared to standard kids skis. This lets a child bend the ski more easily under the foot, engage the edges, and feel the basics of carving skiing even in the first turns.

The lightweight Synflex Core reduces the overall ski weight and ensures a soft, child-friendly bending. The Full Power Cap construction further eases handling, improves ski durability, and provides a more forgiving response in case of minor technical mistakes.

The Early Rise Rocker profile with a slightly lifted tip makes entering a turn easier and reduces the chance of edge catching. The reinforced Fibreglass provides just the right amount of stability and enables a consistent and predictable ski response.

The Junior Shift system creates a balanced connection between skis and bindings and is tailored to smaller and lighter skiers. Therefore Elan Jett JRS skis are an excellent choice for ski schools, first independent turns, and relaxed family skiing.

THE BINDINGS BELONGING TO THE SKIS ARE ELAN BINDINGS, WHICH DIFFER BY THE CHOSEN SKI LENGTH.

• Lengths 70–120 cm: EL 4.5 GW CA JRS bindings, DIN 0.75–4.5

• Lengths 130–150 cm: EL 7.5 GW CA JRS bindings, DIN 2–7.5

Both binding variants are designed specifically for children and youth. The GW designation means the bindings also support appropriate kids’ ski boots with GripWalk outsole.

The Junior Shift system allows adjustment of bindings to different boot lengths and ensures an effective and balanced transfer of movement from boot to ski.

Technologies

U-Flex Technology

Patented U-Flex technology enables up to 25% softer and more flexible bending of the ski. The child can bend the ski more easily, faster mastering of carving, edge loading, and correct skiing posture.

Early Rise Rocker

Lightly raised tip facilitates the start of the turn and reduces the chance of edge-catching. The skis are therefore more maneuverable and help the child maintain balance.

Synflex Core

Light synthetic core with materials of different densities provides a child-friendly bend, low weight, and predictable response during skiing.

Full Power Cap

The Full Power Cap construction reduces weight and enables an even and soft bend of the ski. Due to greater forgiveness, it is very suitable for learning and first independent turns.

Fibreglass

The reinforcement with fiberglass provides appropriate structural and torsional stability. The skis remain lightweight but are stable enough for safe progression.

Extruded Base

The extruded base is durable, easy to maintain, and suitable for regular kids’ skiing.

Junior Shift

The Junior Shift system provides a balanced connection between the child’s ski and binding. It allows adjustment to different boot lengths and effective transfer of movement to the skis.
