BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE – COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 Ski Goggles

BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE with high-quality purple COSMIC PURPLE lens Category 2, 24% Visible Light Transmission (VLT 24%), Superior Light Filter technology, 100% UV protection, Flow-Tech® Venting system, and effective anti-fog protection for a clear view on the slopes

BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE – COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 are modern, comfortable, and technically refined ski goggles from the renowned brand BOLLÉ. They are designed for skiers and snowboarders seeking quality eye protection, a wide field of view, good optical clarity, and reliable comfort during winter sports activities.

The Cerro model combines contemporary styling, a quality dual lens, effective venting, and comfortable fit, making it an excellent choice for recreational skiing, snowboarding, and all-day use on the slopes.

A special feature of this colorway is the combination of the OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE frame – matte purple – and the COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 lens, creating an attractive, modern, and expressive sporty look.

The COSMIC PURPLE lens belongs to category protection 2 (CAT. 2) and has 24% light transmittance (VLT 24%), making it particularly suitable for moderately bright sunlight and variable lighting conditions on the slopes.

Such a lens category is a versatile choice for days with alternating sunny and partly cloudy conditions.

The base color tint of the lens is amber (Amber), which affects light perception and provides a more comfortable view of the snowy surroundings.

The lens uses the Superior Light Filter (SLF) technology, which provides 100% UV protection and is designed for good optical clarity and reliable everyday use.

For additional functionality, the goggles are equipped with the Flow-Tech® Venting system, which promotes air circulation through the frame and helps reduce moisture buildup.

An important advantage of the model is also the double lens – Double Lens, which together with the ventilating system and the Anti-Fog coating helps reduce internal fogging.

For greater durability in everyday use, the Anti-Scratch Coating protects the lens surface from minor scratches.

The goggles feature two-layer face foam, which provides more comfortable fit, pressure relief, and comfort during extended wear.

The elastic strap is equipped with silikonskimi elementi – Silicone On Strap, which helps prevent goggles from slipping on the ski helmet.

The BOLLÉ CERRO model is designed with a wide field of view, enabling good oversight of the slope and surroundings.

The manufacturer also pays special attention to compatibility of ski goggles with ski helmets, so CERRO is an excellent choice for pairing with BOLLÉ helmets.

Particularly attractive is the combination with the BOLLÉ ZENOS MIPS OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE helmet, as the frame color matches the helmet color and creates a cohesive sporty look.

The goggles are made from TPU material, allowing adaptable frame construction and suitability for winter sport conditions.

The model weighs approximately 120 g, designed for comfortable and practical use.

BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE – COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 are an excellent choice for anyone seeking quality ski goggles with a purple lens in category 2, 100% UV protection, a wide field of view, anti-fog protection, and comfortable fit, suitable for skiing and snowboarding.

COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 – a versatile ski lens for changing light conditions

One of the key advantages of the BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE goggles is the COSMIC PURPLE category 2 lens.

The lens category determines how much visible light the lens transmits to the eyes.

A category 2 lens offers a versatile option for skiing in conditions with moderately bright light.

It is especially suitable for partly sunny, variable, and moderately bright weather conditions.

Advantages of the Cosmic Purple CAT. 2 lens

• Lens category 2.

• Visible light transmission 24% (VLT 24%).

• Attractive purple appearance of the lens.

• Amber base tint.

• Suitable for variable lighting conditions.

• Comfortable under moderately bright sun.

• Suitable for partly cloudy weather.

• Versatile use on the slopes.

• Good optical clarity.

• UV protection.

• Suitable for recreational skiing.

• Suitable for snowboarding.

COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 is an excellent choice for skiers who want a versatile lens for typical daily conditions on the slopes.

For very bright sun, a darker lens of category 3 may be more suitable, while for dense fog and very poor visibility, a lighter lens of category 1 or 0 may be preferable.

VLT 24% – balanced visible light transmittance

The COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 lens has 24% visible light transmission (VLT).

VLT indicates the portion of visible light that passes through the lens.

Higher VLT means more light passes through; lower VLT means a darker lens.

The model BOLLÉ CERRO COSMIC PURPLE has a VLT 24% rating, corresponding to category 2.

Advantages of VLT 24%

• Balanced light transmission.

• Suitable for moderately bright conditions.

• Comfortable under partly sunny weather.

• Suitable for variable cloudiness.

• Lower amount of light reaching the eyes.

• More pleasant view of the snowy surroundings.

• Functional for day skiing.

• Suitable for various winter activities.

• Versatile use.

• Complements UV protection.

VLT 24% represents a good balance between reducing light and maintaining usable visibility in moderate daily conditions.

In very dark conditions, heavy fog, or nighttime, this lens is not the optimal choice.

Superior Light Filter (SLF) – optical clarity and 100% UV protection

The ski goggles BOLLÉ CERRO COSMIC PURPLE CAT. 2 use the Superior Light Filter (SLF) technology.

The BOLLÉ CERRO model is equipped with Flow-Tech® Venting.

This is an ventilating system from BOLLÉ, enabling more effective air circulation through the frame of the goggles.

Double Lens – dual lens for more effective fog reduction

The skiing goggles BOLLÉ CERRO OFFTRACK PURPLE MATTE feature a double lens.

The dual construction creates an air space between the outer and inner lens surfaces.

This helps reduce temperature differences on the inner surface and thus lowers the likelihood of condensation.

• Double-lens construction.

• Air space between lenses.

• Reduced temperature differences.

• Support for protection against fogging.

For longer life, we recommend proper cleaning and storage of the goggles.

The BOLLÉ CERRO is designed with a wide field of view, enabling a good view of the surroundings.

On the slopes it is important to be able to notice other skiers, changes in terrain, and obstacles in time.
