## Children's Ski Goggles BOLLÉ INUK PINK & BLUE MATTE – VERMILLON CAT. 2

### BOLLÉ INUK Children's Ski Goggles – Vermillon Category 2 lens, UV protection and a comfortable fit for children aged 3 to 6

**The children's ski goggles BOLLÉ INUK PINK & BLUE MATTE – VERMILLON CAT. 2** are lightweight, comfortable and functional ski goggles designed for the youngest skiers, approximately **3 to 6 years old**.

The INUK model combines a **double lens**, an **Anti-Fog** coating against fogging and a **Flow-Tech Venting** ventilation system, which helps maintain clear visibility while skiing.

The **Vermillon Category 2** lens has a pink base tint that helps improve contrast perception on snow. It is mainly suitable for partly cloudy and moderately sunny conditions.

Soft face foam, an adjustable frame and an adjustable elastic strap provide a comfortable fit for smaller children's faces.

The **PINK & BLUE MATTE** color combination with pink and blue elements gives the goggles a playful, sporty look.

## Vermillon CAT. 2 – lenses for good visibility on snow

**Vermillon** is a lens with a pink base tint, designed for comfortable perception of the snow surface in daylight.

### Main advantages

**CAT. 2 category:** suitable for partly cloudy and moderately sunny weather.

**Pink base tint:** helps emphasize contrasts on snow.

**100% UV protection:** protects against UVA and UVB rays.

**Clear visibility:** improves perception of the surroundings and the snow surface.

**Fixed tint:** the lenses are not photochromic.

## What does the CAT. 2 lens category mean?

**VLT (Visible Light Transmission)** indicates the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens.

Category
Light conditions
Light transmission VLT

**CAT. 0**
Very low light
80–100%

**CAT. 1**
Cloudy weather
43–80%

**CAT. 2**
Partly cloudy, moderate sun
18–43%

**CAT. 3**
Strong sun
8–18%

**CAT. 4**
Extremely strong light
3–8%

**BOLLÉ INUK VERMILLON CAT. 2** uses a Category 2 lens, which is suitable for normal daylight conditions on the slopes.

The exact VLT percentage for this color is not confirmed, so the standard range of Category 2 is given.

## Double Lens – double lens against fogging

**Double Lens** is a construction with two lens layers separated by an insulating air gap.

It helps reduce temperature differences between the inner and outer surface of the goggles and limits condensation.

### Main advantages

Reduced risk of fogging.

Better thermal insulation of the lenses.

Clearer view in cold conditions.

More comfortable skiing for the youngest.

## Anti-Fog Coating – protection against fogging

**Anti-Fog Coating** is a protective coating on the inner surface of the lens that reduces condensation.

In combination with the double lens and ventilation, it helps maintain visibility during temperature changes and physical activity.

## Anti-Scratch Coating – protection against scratches

**Anti-Scratch Coating** increases the resistance of the outer lens surface to minor scratches during normal use.

The coating contributes to a longer service life of the lens, but does not provide complete protection against damage.

## Flow-Tech Venting – effective ventilation

**Flow-Tech Venting** is BOLLÉ's ventilation system that allows directed airflow through the goggle frame.

### Main advantages

Improved air circulation.

Removal of excess moisture.

Reduced risk of fogging.

More comfortable use while skiing.

## PC Lens – lightweight polycarbonate lenses

**PC Lens** denotes a polycarbonate lens that combines low weight with good impact resistance.

The polycarbonate construction contributes to the lightweight design of children's ski goggles.

## Single Density Face Foam – soft face foam

**Single Density Face Foam** is single-layer face foam that provides a comfortable fit for a child's face.

### Main advantages

Soft contact with the skin.

Reduces uncomfortable pressure.

Adapts to smaller children's faces.

Comfort during longer use.

## Seamless Fit – compatibility with ski helmets

**Seamless Fit** denotes BOLLÉ's approach, in which the goggles and helmet are designed to fit well together.

The advantages include:

Comfortable combination with a ski helmet.

Correct fit on the face.

Good ventilation.

Stability during skiing.

The actual fit depends on the model and helmet size.

## Optical Clip Compatible – option for an optical insert

The **BOLLÉ INUK** model supports the use of a suitable optical insert (Optical Clip) for prescription lenses.

No aggressive cleaners or solvents.
